One Response to “What is the Scheduling Committee?”

  1.   Chris Berry Says:

Issues to be considered in scheduling are:
Extra time needed to focus on Literacy and writing.
Focus on individual intervention plans for each student.
Consider schedules of Reading First, Special Ed Staff, Title 1 staff and the coordination of their services in your classroom as it relates to supporting curriculum goals.
Time for Special Education students to recieve small group and out of class support, including specialist services. (OT, PT, Speech, Counseling)
Some time for interesting enrichment classes with an eye on tying them into the curriculum.
