• The Ferryway ELT plan [one year plan 2007/08] was hand-delivered to the DOE last Friday. Copies of the grade and exploratory schedules as well as the budget page will be copied. Just ask any member of the ELT committee to view them. Future revisions are still possible. The plan will be submitted to the School Committee Monday evening. The budget page of the proposed plan will be an important topic.
• Voluntary members (TBD) from the ELT committee will meet with Gerry Ruane and negotiate a compensation package with representatives of the School Committee . Key language will concern money ( ? % ) and time (e.g. when will teachers start and end each day?). Teachers will then vote to accept or reject the ELT plan.
• The final plan with the results of the vote are due May 22.
• The ELT committee will make every effort to communicate details and progress during the next few weeks.
